white house shooting again

An Idaho man wanted in connection with a White House shooting incident was arrested Wednesday in western Pennsylvania, police and the U.S. Secret Service announced.

Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, who was detained by Pennsylvania State Police, was allegedly involved in a shooting Friday night that may be responsible for two bullets found at the White House, according to the Secret Service.

Lt. Brad Shields of the Pennsylvania State Police identified the arrested man as Oscar Ortega-Hernandez, 21, originally from Idaho. Ortega-Hernandez was being questioned by federal authorities, Shields said at a news conference.

Ortega-Hernandez was arrested under a U.S. Park Police warrant issued Sunday in Washington "based on a shooting that occurred at the White House on November 11," Shields said.

Hansen said Ortega is the same man that the Secret Service is calling Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez.
Last Friday night around 9 p.m., U.S. Park Police and the Secret Service investigated after hearing shots fired about 700 to 800 yards from the White House, the Secret Service statement said.

Special Ruined of Gabby Giffords

Gabrielle Giffords  regain her faculties after a brain injury as the result of a shooting in January was-for the most part-heart-warming and inspirational. A short segment showed Giffords confronting an angry crowd of constituents at a town hall meeting. Palin was shown briefly, as was the infamous cross hairs map.

Palin and her map had nothing to do with Giffords' shooting, as was implied in the segment. The documentary, which also contained the first public interview with Giffords since the shooting, was ruined by a gratuitous attack on tea party opponents of health care reform and on Sarah Palin toward the end of the one-hour special. A short segment showed Giffords confronting an angry crowd of constituents at a town hall meeting. Palin was shown briefly, as was the infamous cross hairs map.

ABC News and Sawyer committed journalistic malpractice by dredging up the old accusations without also showing evidence that debunked them. Palin and her map had nothing to do with Giffords' shooting, as was implied in the segment. Jared Loughner, Giffords' assailant, was an insane man who likely never heard of Palin and certainly was unaware of the cross hairs map. Yet ABC chose not to mention this.

The trailer of hunger games Full Video

The trailer of hunger games Full Video*) For "The Hunger Games" uninitiated, Suzanne Collins' bestselling novel depicts a future in which the opulent Capitol rules the planet and the majority of districts are impoverished nations that must serve the central government. Katniss' District 12 pal, and unrequited love, Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth), is given prominent placement in the trailer, suggesting that the character who mostly appears in Katniss' memories throughout the book will receive some solid screen time in the upcoming movie.
Director Gary Ross seems to have gone all out in capturing the Capitol's opulence with the garish Effie Trinket, played by Elizabeth Banks, cheerfully determining the fates of these impoverished kids. We see quick glimpses of Stanley Tucci as Caesar Flickerman and Wes Bentley as Seneca Crane, and we also get a quick peek at Woody Harrelson as Haymitch, a previous Hunger Games winner, now a useless drunk who serves as Peeta and Katniss' biggest ally.
The trailer will debut on the big screen this weekend in front of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 1."  Check it out below.

Matt Schaub Houston Texans out of year

Matt Schaub Houston Texans out of year*) Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub will miss the rest of the season with a Lisfranc injury, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Schaub stayed in the game, but threw only three passes.
Kuharsky: Schaub Joins Texans' Wounded
Matt Schaub's injury is just the latest test for Houston in a season full of setbacks and sidesteps, writes Paul Kuharsky. Kubiak said sixth-year veteran Matt Leinart will start at Jacksonville on Nov. 27.
"Hopefully, Matt won't miss the whole season. Johnson has missed six games with a right hamstring injury, but expects to return for the Jacksonville game. Houston rank eighth in total offense this season (396.2 yards per game).
Matt Leinart will take over as Texans starting QB.
Leinart guided Southern Cal to national championship games after the 2004 and `05 seasons, and went 37-2 as a starter in college.
"It's a great opportunity. Kubiak has been increasing Leinart's repetitions in practice, and he's confident Leinart is ready.
"He's played in big football games in this league, he's played in big football games in college," Kubiak said. Matt doesn't have to go win a game, the team has to go win a game. -- Texans QB Matt Leinart
on opportunity to start again

Schaub, acquired in a trade with Atlanta in March 2007, has started every game for Houston since the start of the 2009 season. Schaub joins the growing list of Houston stars sidelined with injuries this season.
The Texans have the NFL's No. 1 defense (269.7 yards per game) and the third-best rushing offense (158.1 yards per game), with Foster and Tate both ranking among the top 10.

Whitney Duncan Dating Keith Tollefson, Secretly Married to Donny Fallgatter

Whitney Duncan, Survivor Star: Dating Keith Tollefson, Secretly Married to Donny Fallgatter? Whitney Duncan's Survivor: South Pacific bio says she is 27, resides in Nashville and is a country music singer. Check, check, and check.

Asked to describe herself in three words, she lists: Outgoing, happy and honest. Check, check and ... not so much.

The blonde, who portrays herself as single on the show, and who was runner-up in Country Weekly's"Hottest Bachelorette" earlier this year, has in fact been married since Aug. 1, 2010, when she secretly wed Donny Fallgatter, 32, in Gatlinburg, Tenn.

Fallgatter, from Bismark, N.D., is lead singer for the band KingBilly. According to a fellow band member, sparks first flew for the couple when their paths crossed in June 2010 during the CMA Music Festival in Nashville.

"They were good together, and they looked good together," says the source. "They both fell hard."

The romance heated up quickly, and Duncan moved into Fallgatter's home and occasionally traveled and performed with KingBilly while they were on tour. Before Duncan left to compete on Survivor in late May, the couple announced their engagement to family and friends.

At one point before returning home, Duncan phoned Fallgatter, and, as Fallgatter told the friend, "He said she sounded weird, like something was up."
Fallgatter's suspicions were confirmed in a subsequent call, the friend says, when she confessed that she was in a relationship with Keith Tollefson.

"Donny sent me a text that said, 'Whitney got into a Survivor relationship.' I called him and he was upset so I went over to his place," says the friend.
"That's when he told me that she wasn't his fiancé, but his wife, that they had gotten married the summer before. I was totally shocked."

On Aug. 20, Duncan Tweeted, "Moving furniture all day ... sweeet. I'm gonna be happy when I get a home one day and never have to move again."
Since then, she and Tollefson have been spotted around Nashville, and she refers to a BF in her Twitter posts. Tollefson, 26, was voted off Survivor Nov. 2, leaving Duncan to fend for herself. A rep for Duncan had no comment.

Obama on USS Carl Vinson for Carrier Classic between UNC

President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, were sitting courtside for tipoff of the Carrier Classic on the flight deck of the Carl Vinson, which six months earlier buried Osama bin Laden at sea. After all, President Barack Obama sat at midcourt as the teams played the first college hoops game on an active flat top.

The Veterans Day game was conceived by Michigan State athletic director Mark Hollis as a salute to the military. Most of the 8,111 fans were active-duty military.
"It's a loss but at the end of the day it's a win because of what we did," Draymond Green said after pulling down a career-high 18 rebounds for the Spartans.
For this night, though, the focus was on the first college hoops game on an active carrier. The court was set up between the carrier’s island and the forward catapults.
The Tar Heels and Spartans players had U.S.A. on the back of their jerseys rather than their names. At dusk, the game was paused for the lowering of the American flag.
And say this about the men and women of the military: they know their basketball players.
A handful of former North Carolina stars were walking to their seats when a sailor stopped one of them and said, “Tyler Hansbrough?!”
It was indeed. And there was Vince Carter and Bobby Frasor, getting mobbed for autographs by sailors and Marines waiting for the game.

Name Change to Be miami marlins

Name Change to Be miami marlins*) The changes emphasize the team’s move from a suburban multipurpose stadium, where attendance was poor, to a cozier ballpark near downtown where crowds of more than 30,000 are expected for every game next season.
“If our ballpark could speak, its first words would be, ‘Hola, Miami,’” owner Jeffrey Loria told 500 guests seated along the third-base line.
They wore hard hats because the ballpark isn’t quite complete, but a large video scoreboard was up and running to show franchise highlights and the new logo. It’s a block M with a sleek marlin curled above it.
Miami Marlins’ Hanley Ramirez asserts that he is shortstop – MLB Update
While praising Jose Reyes, Miami Marlins’ Hanley Ramirez asserted that he will continue considering himself as shortstop until the management speaks to him about moving to third base to make room for Reyes at his natural position.
It is becoming highly evident that the Marlins will lure Reyes to the ballclub before the next season after New York Mets have failed to come up with an offer to retain their All-Star shortstop. Reyes is looking for a long-term lucrative deal or a short-term deal with an inflated monetary incentive and the Marlins are satisfied to fulfil these demands in a bid to strengthen their roster.

Why David Nelson is dating a Cowboys cheerleader

Why David Nelson is dating a Cowboys cheerleader? its not an eassy question, but Buffalo Bills wide receiver David Nelson is sleeping with the enemy.
He's dating a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader named Kelsi Reich, who, according to Yahoo!, likes country music, spinach-stuffed tortellini, and can hold Skittles in her dimples. She works for the Dallas Cowboys and roots for the Dallas Cowboys, but I know she’ll have some inside joy if I do well.

This is Nelson's second year in the NFL and Sunday will be his first game against the Cowboys. His girlfriend has been a cheerleader with the team for four years.
Remember in December 2002 when T.O  celebrated in the end zone with a pair of pom-poms that he grabbed from a 49ers cheerleader after scoring a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers?
Well, prepare for another possible player-cheerleader celebration this Sunday when the Buffalo Bills travel to Dallas to play the Cowboys.
